For my performance project I decided to do a Birth Control Talk. I feel like this topic is a social issues that not may speak about. In the video I decided to ask my friends/coworkers to speak about their experience on birth control, this is a topic we have discussed before and we noticed that all three of us had our own experience on it. 

As females from our experience we realized that one form of birth control that may have worked for someone may not work for the next. Or the use of birth control is something that can be seen as scary to another but that is a subject that is not really spoken about. 

Females should be able to talk about birth control and how we truly feel about it without feeling like we may be judged for what form we take or may not take. A great example was my friend Denise stating she does not use birth control, only a condom and the "pull out" method. Now in days may people would judge is there is not form of birth control but she made a good point that the side effects can be overwhelming. 

I gained my inspiration in a way from Yoko Ono. She is an artist that was criticized for her own reasons but she did not let that stop her from speaking out about what she felt. Birth control is something that is criticized to some form but women should not be afraid to announce their feeling for it.
